Seven Super Secrets for Playing the Lottery, From a Double Million-Dollar Winner

First, the bad news. There is no magic bullet for winning lotto. The good news is that there are “Smart Play Zones” that significantly improve your chances of winning the lottery. I have shared in two different million-dollar wins over the last three years, but the reality also is that I have failed to win first prize for 154 weeks out of 156.

However, most weeks I have a win of some kind. Winning Lotto Secret 1. In this article we're going to give you a highly condensed version that covers the seven most important secrets for improving your odds of winning lotto. The first one is to make sure your six numbers include three odd numbers and three even numbers; roughly 1 week in three the result will be of this type.

If we expand this to three odd / three even, plus two odd / four even, plus four odd / two even - then these three combinations account for 75-80% of all winning lotto numbers. You should also note that winning lotto numbers that are all-odd or all-even only come out on average two to three times a year.

Winning Lotto Secret 2. Playing sets of eight numbers, rather than six, obviously improves your chances of winning lotto significantly. The problem for most people is that the 28 games involved in a full lotto system eight are too expensive.

However there is a little-known secret that uses just 4 of the 28 games to guarantee a result of at least five numbers from any winning six winning lotto numbers – which leaves a 1-in-3 chance of all 6. There is a second lotto system that requires just 8 games that give you this guarantee plus a second guarantee - that all four number combinations are present; so if you only have four winning lotto numbers, then you are guaranteed a payout. Used in conjunction with Winning Lotto Secret 1, you should ensure that your eight numbers include four odd and four even numbers. By doing this, all your games must be one of the three types above that account for 80% of all winning lotto numbers.

Winning Lotto Secret 3. In almost any six ball lottery anywhere in the world, over 40% of winning lotto numbers have no consecutive numbers. If you add to this only two consecutive numbers, between 80 and 90% of all winning lotto numberss are covered; we call this the “Smart Play Zone.”

If you play a 45 ball lottery, play six sets of eight, with three numbers played a second time. If you play 49 ball lottery, then play six sets of eight and leave one number out; alternatively you can play seven sets of eight, with seven numbers played twice.

By playing all the numbers you guarantee that you have all the winning lotto numbers spread out over your entry somewhere. First prize is possible, whereas with an autopick it is unusual to have all the numbers in your lottery on the ticket.

Winning Lotto Secret 6. Around 90% of winning lotto numbers include either just one or none of the previous week's winning lotto numbers. If you are playing multiple sets of eight, then spread last week's numbers amongst the sets.

Winning Lotto Secret 7. Be realistic. As stated earlier, there is no magic bullet for winning lotto - but you can significantly improve your chances. However, mathematics, logic and probability can only take you so far - you are still dependent on Lady Luck being very kind you.
